Refund and Cancellation Policy

Bridges Educational Foundation is committed to ensuring a transparent and trustworthy donation process. We appreciate the support of our donors and strive to address any concerns regarding donations. Please review the following refund policy for a better understanding of our procedures:

1. Refund Eligibility Criteria:

– Refunds will be considered only in cases where an error or technical issue occurred during the donation process, leading to inadvertent double payments or over-donations.

– Donors must notify Bridges Educational Foundation of such errors via email/letter and initiate the refund request within 15 calendar days from the date of the original donation.

– The refund process will be initiated promptly, and donors can expect to receive the refunded amount within 30 calendar days from the requested return date.

2. Refund Notification:

– All relevant information regarding the refund will be communicated to the donor via email/letter, providing comprehensive details of the process.

– Refunds will be issued by cheque/online transfer in the name of the donating party only.

3. Currency and Exchange Rates:

– Refunds will be processed based on the current currency rates, and all refunds will be made in Indian Rupees (INR) only.

4. Authenticity of Information:

– Donors are required to provide authentic, correct, and true information during the online donation process.

– Bridges Educational Foundation reserves the right to confirm and validate the information provided at any point in time. In case of inaccurate details, the foundation holds the discretion to reject the donation.

5. Error Correction:

– Donors who identify errors in donation amount, purpose, or any other parameter are encouraged to notify Bridges Educational Foundation within 3 working days via email to contact@befserve.org. Necessary corrections will be made whenever possible.

6. Transaction Confirmation:

– Donors will receive a confirmation notification for both successful and failed transactions.

7. Cancellation Policy:

– No refund or cancellation requests for online donations will be entertained through the online payment gateway after the donation is accepted, unless there is a fraud notification from our payment gateway service providers.

8. Tax Exemption Certificate:

– Only Indian donors are eligible for a Tax exemption certificate under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

– The certificate will be sent to the registered address provided during the online donation process.

9. Claim for Undelivered 80-G Certificate:

– If an Indian donor does not receive the 80-G certificate within 45 days from the time of donation, they are liable to claim the donated amount from Bridges Educational Foundation.
